The growth proof

Background

Visit Keswick, the Keswick Tourism Association, represents around seventy local businesses: accommodation, food and drink, attractions and activities across the town and the wider Borrowdale valley.

Rather than each business connecting one at a time, Visit Keswick is going live as a Curator: the trust layer connecting its whole membership at once.

How it works

As a Curator, Visit Keswick verifies its own members and vouches for them to an agent, the same role a destination marketing organisation already plays for a human visitor, extended to a machine asking on someone else's behalf.

Individual members are also free to connect directly, in parallel. Going through Visit Keswick isn't a requirement, but for many it's the fastest way to start.

Their Echo

An Echo isn't private, it's the published record an agent reads. Visit Keswick's is being built now.
